We used coconut oil instead of butter. The brownies came out moist and delicious.

Added 3 tsp orange extract and it tastes like a Terry's chocolate orange.
I did thoroughly mix ingredients with a hand mixer.

Top much butter, if I had put 50g less butter than the recipe, them would be PERFECT! Very moist, all apart from the butter, the taste was amazing😍

Made these last night and they should have cooked a little longer. They were entirely too moist and gooey & too sweet. I’ll not make this version again

These would not cook. I followed the recipe very precisely and did not do any substitutions. I followed her direction to cook at 300° but even at over an hour the batter was still raw in the center (not goey or crumbs came out but raw). At one point I took them out and thought that letting them cool completely would help but it didn't, these were still very raw. To fix this I cranked the heat up to 350° and tossed them back in for 15min. It seemed to help a little but they still came out questionable. The vanilla was also very overpowering, I did not mix up tbsp and tsp, I triple checked. Even with just 2tsp it was a LOT.
(In the picture you can kinda see how raw they were, this was after having them in the oven for 1.5 hr)

Great brownies! Made them with baker's chocolate instead of chips, and I used real Mexican vanilla. I like my brownies fudgy, these are more cakey. The best cakey brownie I've ever had.

10/10 hands down the BEST most reliable brownie recipe I’ve tried. Every time without fail, crunchy on the outside and the perfect gooey chewiness on the inside. Super easy too!

Wow! Finally a brownie recipe that is just right! Very chocolatey and extremely moist to gooey. Exactly what I was looking for in a brownie recipe
Thank you so very much.

It turned out soo horrible. It was foamy, did not rise, and was absolutely disgusting. We had it in for an hour and it didn’t work. We followed the instructions perfectly.

Very good! I decided to try and hand mix instead of use my stand mixer and it came out a touch grainy. Everyone loved it but its just what I noticed, so if you dont have a lotta arm strength like me maybe us stabd mixing will make it even that much better????? Its still super good!!

Thanks you for this super simple and really yummy recipe. I had fun making this with my 3 year hold sort-of helping, but mostly throwing sugar all over my kitchen. Speaking of sugar, is there a way to use less of it? I imagine I can't just reduce the amount of sugar without compensating with something else? Thanks again!

Yummy. I added 200 g of sugar and it was still a tad too sweet. Also added walnuts and left out the chocolate chips.
