- 1/2 sweet onion (large, diced)
- 2 bell peppers (diced, I used red and orange)
- 3 celery stalks (diced)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning (divided)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (if you want it spicy)
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. chili pepper flakes
- 14 oz. crushed tomatoes
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 cups basmati brown rice
- 3 cups low salt chicken broth (organic)
- 1 cup okra (I used frozen and thawed it first)
- 1 pkg. tiger shrimp (16-20 count black, peeled and deveined)
- fresh parsley (chopped for garnish, optional)

Excellent recipe, but went with hot Italian chicken sausage and extra cayenne. Used Celtic sea salt and the family shoveled it down! Also-very easy recipe compared to others with great flavor!! Kudos!
