Made with steamed broccoli florets and pieces of smoked salmon, this quiche has a flaky crust and a creamy filling. You can make your own pie dough or purchase a premade pie dough. You do need to blind bake the crust before adding the filling to make sure that you do not end up with a soggy bottom. Bake time is 30 minutes.

  • 3 slices smoked salmon (chopped)
  • 100 grams broccoli
  • 50 grams manchego cheese (grated)
  • salt (to taste)
  • pie dough (Unsweetened, purchased or homemade)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
    2. Grease and flour a pie pan. Roll out the dough and cut into a circle. Fit the circle of dough into the pie pan, trimming any excess dough and pinching the edges. Bake for 10 minutes.
    3. Steam the broccoli until tender. Set aside.
