- 2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast (or instant yeast, 7 g)
- 11 Tbsp. unsalted butter (160 g, 1 stick+3 Tbsp, in pieces, softened)
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp. fine salt
- 600 grams white bread flour (all-purose flour works too)
- 1 egg yolk (mixed with 2 teaspoons milk for egg wash)
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds (>> All ingredients at room temperature. For the dough, I recommend measuring the flour by weight in grams/oz since it is more accurate than measuring by volume.)
