Was still really sweet, so I will cut the maple syrup in the filling and the brown sugar in the topping maybe by 1/3 next time. Still a hit with the family and got demolished! Top was also super crumbly so maybe I did not add enough butter; reducing sugar and experimenting with butter should help that.
