- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. honey (always measure the oil first so the honey will slide right out of the measuring spoon)
- 4 1/2 cups flour (you can use any combination of flour. I like to use 2.5 C white whole wheat, 1 C whole wheat, 1 C bread flour or high gluten flour)
- 1 Tbsp. yeast
- 2 tsp. dried basil (dried oregano, or dried italian seasoning blend)
- 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes (canned)
- salt
- cracked black pepper (fresh)
- 8 oz. fresh mozzarella
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (chiffonade)
- sea salt (I am currently loving this sea salt mixed with crushed red pepper that I got in Israel)
