- 2 blocks mee
- 150 grams minced pork (marinated with soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine and some white pepper)
- soaking liquid
- 4 dried mushrooms
- 500 mL warm water
- 1/2 carrot (sliced)
- vegetables (Green leafy, your choice, blanched)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch (dissolved in 2 tablespoons water)
- 500 mL soaking liquid (reserved mushroom, from above)
- 300 mL water
- 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Chinese cooking wine (hua diao jiu)
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning (mushroom, powder, optional but very good. see below.)
- white pepper
