    Very good! I only had a 1/4 cup brandy and no bourbon in the house, so I added 1/4 cup spiced rum to the brandy for the liquor part. Baked 10 minutes, gave a stir, and 5 minutes more was all my pecans needed. Though "chewy" when warm, these cool to a firm, crunchy candy shell and are deliciously addictive. Will definitely become a staple here, especially for gift-giving.
