- 3.3 oz. water
- 2 oz. bourbon (I love Makers Mark, Bulleit, Barrell Bourbon or Knob Creek)
- 1 cup sugar (confectioners', for coating pan and marshmallows)
- 1 oz. unflavored gelatin (powdered)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 loaf challah bread (Slice thin)
- 1 sweet potato
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 2 cups cream
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/2 bourbon (and it was good but strong presence - I like, so I would use that again - up to your preference)
- bread (Loaf pan)
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- broiler (If you don't want to buy a kitchen torch, could use, or they have those candle lighter torches)
- candied pecans (garnish, optional)
- honey (garnish, optional)
