Delicious! The Bourbon balances all the flavors in the glaze and enhances the smokiness of the ham. I will be adding this to the recipe box of favorites. Thank You!

Oh, WOW, was this good and the ham came out so moist. Since I did not cook a spiral ham, I scored my shank half ham to give the ham more surfaces to hold this delicious glaze. The glaze was not overly sweet either which I attribute to using 100% pure maple syrup. And let me tell you our house smelled so good, mouthwatering good, as it cooked. Will use again, for sure!

This sounded delicious but there's only the two of us, so I used two small ham steaks, and cut down the recipe. I had to guess at the proportions. I mixed up a couple tablespoons brown sugar, a teaspoon of spicy mustard, one or two shakes of cloves and a few more shakes of cinnamon, some grated orange zest plus added a light squeeze of orange juice, a tablespoon each of maple syrup and whiskey (Jack Daniels). This yielded about 4 tablespoons of sauce. I brushed about a tablespoon or so on each side of the ham steak, put in a foil- lined pan, covered with foil, and popped into the toaster oven at 350* F set for 30 min. Took off the foil then baked them another few minutes. Yumm! Minus one star for not having a ham steak version for smaller families.

My first actual dinner party and I don't think a word was spoken throughout the entire meal because everyone was too busy stuffing themselves. This was delicious.

Excellent
Did not use a spiral ham as they were not available yet so bought a nice boneless ham from the meat market. Husband said maybe a little too much ground glove for his taste. Kids loved it. Delicious glaze made exactly as directed. Served with BBQ'd asparagus and mini roasted potatoes
