This has a lot of bones (structure), but little flavour on its own. I did dredge in flour, but added spices...salt and peppered chops before dredging. Added extra tbsp of butter and a tbsp of flour to make a bit of a roux, used red wine, reducing to half even in the roux, added beef stock....needs a lot more seasonings, but the basexof a good dish. I baked at 400 for 20 min. Too long for the cheese.

When it comes to taste.....there can be no dispute. That's what makes it difficult to believe the reviews on this site Plus that...you present a "recipe" and then read everybody's "alterations"???? They added this and took out that...or they did this instead of that. What's the point of presenting a recipe if everybody is going to change it to what they like????? Makes no sense to me.

I made this with chicken instead of pork. It’s a quick and easy favorite of my very picky family of 5!

Never making this again... had to wash it down w/ a chaser it was so gross. my boyfriend didn’t like it either. May have just been something I did wrong based on all the other positive reviews though

It’s so yummy I want to try it with chicken breasts or chopped steak, or roast and mashed potatoes.....I added extra wine and broth and all the “gravy” was fabulous!!

This recipe was absolutely divine!!! So very delicious. I too did as Tena did and i added a spoon full of minced garlic (McCormics) to the mushrooms as i sauted them. I also only left it in the oven for 10 minutes since the cheese melted quickly. However next time I will probably put the oven at 350 instead of 450 and leave it in for the 15-20 minutes. This is a keeper.

This was good, ok good but not great. I was really hoping to find that one recipe for tender pork chops because I hate pork chops for the single reason that they are dry. I purchased thick cut and browned them slightly after 12 minutes in the oven they were already 160 degrees! Yuck! The favors were there but they were dry and almost rubbery.

Wow!! This dish was delish!! The whole family loved it!! I threw freshly minced garlic in with the mushrooms. 👌

I added roasted garlic to the mushrooms and used red wine. Delicious. Even the 2 year grandbaby liked it.

Delicious and easy! I used red wine and added chopped red bell peppers. I served it with buttered pasta and green peas. Definitely making it again!
