- 2 tsp. ginger (fresh, grated, or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)
- 2 cloves garlic (grated or minced)
- 1 lb. apples (peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup wheat flour (whole)
- 1 cup all purpose flour (unbleached)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- vegetable oil (such as coconut, grapeseed, or safflower)
- 8 burgers ( Dr. Praeger’s Bombay)
- 2 cups chopped cilantro (loosely packed, roughly)
- 1/2 cup pickled onions ( quick)
