In place of traditional mashed potatoes, the meat is paired with a combination of mashed potatoes and celeriac.   • 500 milliliters beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 garlic cloves (peeled and crushed)
  • 3 thyme sprigs
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 150 grams white onions (diced)
  • 250 grams fresh mushrooms
  • 1 handful black trumpet mushrooms

    Directions

    1. Trim fat from bacon and dice.
    2. Cook bacon in an oven-proof skillet until brown. Season beef with salt and pepper to taste. Add beef to pan and cook over high heat.
