I used spinach, blueberries, pineapples, and other berries and mixed in a little almond milk instead of orange juice. It was DELICIOUS

SO good. We have this at least once a month as open faced sandwiches with mashed potatoes and good white bread.

So simple yet VERY flavorful! We put it over mashed potatoes and made the perfect Fall dinner. Definitely making this again!

Last week when this recipe was listed on Yummly Harris Teeter was having a sale on chuck pot roast I told myself I am supposed to make this pot roast. When I was in Harris Teeter I was talking to the butcher and he asked me what I was making I told him Mississippi Pot Roast he said he makes it all the time and it is the best. I told 3 other people about the recipe before I left the grocery store. I was never a lover of pot roast because it was a tasteless hunk of meat with gravy, but this was full of flavor and delicious. This recipe has renewed my faith in great recipes. Thanx a million.

Love love love this! I always make my roast this way... I add diced onion and double the seasoning if I want to add carrots and potatoes to it!

Oh. My. Gosh. There is no way a recipe this simple and easy to literally just toss together can taste this good, but it does! It's rare that I don't try a few deviations or additions to a recipe to make it my own, after I've made it the first time just as written. But this? Nope, love it exactly as is!

Very good! The family loved this one tender & flavorful. will make again. I didn't add the peperccini but added mushrooms & bell peppers instead the juices made a wonderful gravy!

This was delicious and so easy! I halved the recipe to serve 4. This will be a staple in my house and the smell when I walked in!

Delish!!!! My husband and picky 11year old daughter loved it! Next time I wouldn't use the entire ranch and au juis packets because it was a bit too salty, but over all a big hit! Will definitely be adding this to the fall/winter dinner rotation

Absolutely delicious! I forgot the butter (accident) and it was perfectly fine anyway. My kids ate every bite.

I have never been a fan of pot roast. This I can get behind and will be in the dinner rotation! Made it as is from the recipe no modifications and it was great. As I was cleaning up and putting leftovers in the containersI found myself just eating the roast right out of the leftover container.

It really is the best pot roast ever! Defs would make it again. Also extremely easy and I've never been good with crock pots.
