- 1/4 tsp. rose water (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 18 Tbsp. unsalted butter (9 ounces/2-1/4 sticks , softened)
- 3 large eggs (plus 1 large yolk, room temperature)
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 Tbsp. cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tsp. amaretto liqueur (almond)
- 2 tsp. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. fine sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sliced almonds (toasted)
