- 1 1/2 lb. cod fish (cut into 3 inch long fillets)
- 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 cup green cabbage (shredded)
- 2 cups red cabbage (shredded)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (can use lime or lemon juice, I just prefer vinegar for the cabbage slaw)
- 2 avocados (ripe, sliced)
- 1 cup grape tomatoes (or 1 cup diced tomatoes)
- 1 jalapeño pepper (chopped into small pieces)
- salsa verde (for serving, I used Stonewall brand, any salsa of your choice is fine)
- lime wedges
- cilantro
- 12 flour tortillas

My partner & I both loved this recipe! I added green onions to the slaw mix & used organic medium heat salsa! We also added sprouts for some extra texture! It was tasty!!

Good recipe! I used a griddle and less oil to grill the fish. The toppings were also different. The fish itself is so easy to make and tastes so good in a taco.

It turned out great. I smoked the cod on the grill but otherwise followed the recipe. My family really enjoyed it. The only disappointment was there were no leftovers.

Loved the tacos but I made some substitutions. I used only red cabbage for the slaw and got fresh corn tortillas instead of flour.

Best taco recipe! I really like the apple
Cider vinegar to make the slaw, the flavor is more subtle that lime marinade.

Very tasty and easy to make. I cheated and bought a bag of Asian chopped salad.I used it to replace all the ingredients for the coleslaw and just made the red wine vinegar sauce. The cilantro ranch dressing that came with it was a nice addition.

These tacos were really easy to make and had great flavor ! I added a corn and tomato salsa with black beans , cilantro and lime juice . Will definitely be making this in the near future .
