This came out really good! The only thing I would recommend changing is putting on egg wash to give it a nice signature pie look.

I follow all recipes exactly the first time then adjust it to what works best for my oven and my tastebuds. Though my family loved it as is, Here are the changes I would make.. for the filling I would use 24 oz fresh store bought berries, 3/4 sugar, 5 Tbsp tapioca. For the all butter crust I would use 7 tbsp ice water, salted butter and not add any additional salt. Then I would bake 30 minutes, lower temp, then use pie protector 15 min, then cover with a piece of foil completely for final 15 minutes.

If I were stranded on a deserted island and I was only permitted one food to eat for my duration there, I would choose this pie
10/10 would recommend to friends, family, and random people on the street

Perfect! I only had one packet of gelatin and added a couple tablespoons of cornstarch.

Delicious!!!!!! I used vanilla instead of almond, and had to add some frozen blue, rasp and blackberries to make six cups, since we didn't pick enough, but other than that I stuck to the recipe. YUMMMM!! I will definitely make this again!! This will be my go to recipe for blackberry pie!!!! Thank you!!

It turned out great. It was the first time I did a pie and I was a bit nervous about it. I changed the berries and used frozen blueberries but even so it tasted great. Definitely one of my favourites.
