This turned out really good. I used six cups of fresh berries instead of 4, but kept the filling ingredients the same but would add a bit more cornstarch next time. For the topping I used 1 c rice flour blend, and 1/2 almond flour, and cut the sugar in half. We don’t like things overly sweet at our house, so I usually cut sugar down. Using the hot water in the topping worked out really well. I had not seen that technique before. Made it easy to stir rather than cold milk.
