I followed the recipe and it turned out awesome and it held together great ! These burgers would cost about $12 each at a vegan restaurant!! I pan fried mine in olive oil - each side 4 minutes!

Have prepped it. Getting liquid smoke to add to it tomorrow. Will update my review this week.

Really tasty! My burger didn’t hold together very well when I took a bite, so I’ll probably add some more oats next time. Other than that it was good!

Very yummy! I baked the black beans in the oven after rinsing them for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. This helped dry them out a little and helped keep the burgers from being too mushy like black bean burgers can sometimes be. Other than this one change, the rest was great! Nom nom nom.

Even though I’m not a vegetarian I love black bean burgers this one was great. I doubled the oatmeal. I may try to leave the onions and peppers a little chunkier so there is a bit more texture to the burger. I used both the chia seeds and an extra egg

This is a great recipe that I have made multiple times. The refrigeration step is important and definitely cook in the oven or on your stove top and not on the grille

Pretty nice, but the patty wasn't solid enough and crumbled down easily.

These are amazing! I have never had a Black Bean Burger but thought I would try something new. I topped with salsa and avocado. My new lunch to take to work 😀

Had to go a little soft with the spices but overall it was delicious and kinda easy to make! I'm pretty happy with the result.

It was great,my partner loved it too.maybe it needs spices added extra into the mix and some salt+pepper for next time when i’ll do it.the only remark to be made🙌🏻thanks!

I love it, the black bean patties are delicious and it's a great alternative for vegetarians like me, for example.

I read a review by someone else before I made this stating that the mixture was a bit wet. I adjusted it by adding another cup of oats. This turned out very well. I spiced it up to my taste and then threw some very hot hot sauce on it. Not bad.

This recipe was a perfect coronavirus lockdown recipe. I was missing some small items like garlic, cilantro and 3/4 of the onion but I have to say WAS VERY GOOD! served it with tomato and avocado and a side of rice NOTE: Be Sure to drain the black beans and slightly rinse them

Soggy. Didn’t hold together. Instructions should have been by weight, not by cups of diced ingredients - this likely contributed to the wetness of the mixture.

I loved it! We put a sun dried tomato spread on the roll with lettuce. Yummy!

I am 12 years old and I love to cook.I have been a vegetarian for 4 years. This was an amazing recipe. I had to cook it longer because I substituted the oats and bell peppers with sweet potatoes and tomatoes, but the outcome was fabulous!

Delicious! Added the full amount of seasonings even though I was a bit skeptical of the amounts. They tasted great!

Excellent! I added half green onions for the red and cilantro and used Spanish paprika. Fantastic flavor and great consistency! Will definitely make again!

Great I added cilantro because I had some. Kids loved it, I’m never buying from a store again

Definitely mushy but was excellent in flavor! My parents used it as a dip instead of a burger, but still loved it! Definitely have to follow directions better next time and add more seasoning to taste (don’t be afraid of the salt)! I had one patty leftover and refrigerated it. It was more put together the next day. I would recommend making the mixture in advanced and then baking the next day so that it keeps it hold.
Also, I recommend eating it with a bagel, sunny side up egg, horseradish, and a tad of steak sauce. The flavors went well together and really tasted meaty then.

Wife is a vegetarian so I made this recipe. She said it was great and that works for me
