I've been making Barbara's copy cat Garlic Bread for years and it always gets me rave reviews. I have experimented with many different kinds of beads over the years and I have found the best bread to use is brioche buns, but hard rolls work, too. Cut in half and spread a generous amount of the spread on. This will result in a lower crust and outer edges soaked in the butter that gets crispy when baked and broiled per the instructions, yet the inside will be gooey and delicious. For a quick appetizer mix in mock crab and prepare as directed! (I omitted the green onion and its still super good).
