- butter (for greasing pan.)
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/4 cup sugar (more or less depending on how sweet you want your biscuits)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup crisco shortening
- 5/8 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup buttermilk (to make it dough resemble cottage cheese)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for shaping dough)
- 3 Tbsp. butter (melted for brushing on top of cooked biscuits)
- berries (A mix of which ever, you like, I used strawberries, blueberries, blackberries & raspberries)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 pt. heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp. confectioners’ sugar (powder)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dark chocolate (Hershey's Special, for zesting on top.)
