- 24 oz. stout
- 1 sprig thyme
- 2 bay leaves

- 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (mixed with cold water to form a paste)
