fantastic! soft, chewy, gooey! i used a 1oz. scoop and baked them 10 minutes at 350.

I made these cookies awhile back and they were tasty enough for me to want to make again. I think the recipe was rather easy to make too. As you can probably tell from the image, the cookies are huge! But I think it's important they stay that large to make a chewy, soft, inside.

Amazing! I chilled the dough overnight.
I’ll let them cool down for a couple minutes before I do the yum test. I baked them on an insulated cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Ok, I did the taste test and I was moaning after my first bite! YUMMERS!!

These are so delicious! I did not have the patience to wait for them to chill, just baked them up and they were great

These were so yummy! Easy to make. I omitted the walnuts and added extra chocolate chips and they were perfect

Incredible flavor! Heeded the advice on not over-baking and BOY the gooey was spot on!! Not underdone, just simply perfect. I used almonds instead as I was out of walnuts, added a nice crunch.

These are terrific! Just like the ones I remember when I was a kid! Even my husband was eating them and he hates walnuts.

Omg! These were amazing! Rich and decadent. You really do need to refrigerate the dough before baking. The dough sticks to your hands so o would wet my hands periodically to keep the dough from sticking. Make these now!!

They did not taste like doubletree cookies they were just ok I used roll oats maybe that was the problem

Really good mine were fluffly. I get that result by doing half the required butter and the other half using smart balance instead. Still haven't found the perfect cookie recipe yet. This one is pretty good though.

I only used 2 cups of chocolate chips and they turned out great! I’ll definitely make these again!

Awesome! I cooked a double batch with white chocolate chips... the oatmeal makes it

I’ve made it three times and I swear they are better every time. Love this recipe!

By far the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made. I used semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips. The key to success is to be patient and follow instructions.. use melted butter as called for and make dough into balls, then refrigerate for at least a couple of hours and you will not get a flat cookie. They were gone before they even cooled!!!!

These are amazing! I have used milk chocolate, semi sweet, and dark chocolate chips to make them, and all of them taste great! They never turn out flat, they always rise beautifully. The last time I made those (with dark chocolate chips), I reduced the sugars to 1/2 cup each, and they were delicious! I have to make them often, my family loves them

Double tree are better. I made these twice, I bake often, and rarely have problems. These cookies were flat both times I made them. The first time I followed the recipe by melting the butter, the second time I creamed the butter, sugar, and added eggs... both times, flat cookies. They taste fine and people enjoyed them, just not exactly what I was hoping for, a bit disappointed- maybe because double tree cookies are just so iconic and delicious?

They were very tasty and buttery! However, a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe would probably be just as good without the hassle of grinding oats for flour.
