- 1 tsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- Fresh ground pepper (about 5 turns) (Fresh, about 5 turns)
- 1/4 cup kirsch (cherry brandy)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- french bread (cut into bite-sized cubes, dried overnight or for several hours)
- parsley (flat leaf, garnish, optional)
