This really was good! I've never been a big lentil soup person, but I enjoyed this very much.

I made a few changes based on what i had on hand: used leeks instead of fennel, herbes de provence and my own bone broth. it was AMAZING and my guest did ask for the recipe, just as the article stated. It really IS the best d#@n lentil soup!

It’s more like a veritable soup with lentils in it but I really liked it! Definitely healthy for sure and although I had some trouble finding fennel, don’t leave it out. It’s definitely an important ingredient.
