    I made this in a skillet and let it simmer for 30 minutes instead of in a crock pot. Dredged the beef in the flour and spices instead of shaking in a baggie. When Done I added extra beef broth (about 2 cups) and deleted the water. It was fabulous with mashed potatoes!
