Not great made with room temperature Crisco. I threw away the 2nd pie crust. If I try it again, I’ll use half butter and half Crisco and chill them before using. I do give it credit for not shrinking but am still looking for the perfect flaky taste.

This is my first time making pie crust. Let me first tell you that this was so easy to make! And it turned out flaky and delicious.

It was good, and very easy yo make. i will have to reduce the salt content in either the crust or the dish for next time, but i have no complaints. will make it again.

This pie crust is amazing. I was visiting my Dad recently who is a great cook and very picky about taste and overall quality. He was unable to find his go to recipe so we tried this.He loved it so much he saved this recipe and pledged it would be his new go to.

Okay, I've never *loved* pie crust, but this is amazing. I could just eat the crust alone.
I've used my family "secret" recipe for years, but this recipe is my new go-to (my great-grandmother is probably rolling in her grave over this).

Delicious! I would make it again! Flaky, salty, buttery... awesome! I substituted butter instead of shortening and it was great!
