  • 6 pieces chicken (quartered, washed and drained, you can use tandoori chickens or baby chickens for this purpose)
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder (mixed, I use Bolsts Mild Mixed Curry Powder)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
  • 5 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter or replace using oil if you prefer)
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (large)
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 2 onions (large)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (crushed)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (I used 1.5 tsp but you can use less, 1 tsp is good)
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder (mixed, I use Bolsts Mild Mixed Curry Powder)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 5 green chillies
