- 16 oz. button mushrooms (or approximately 4 cups, washed and then drained or patted dry)
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 1/4 cup potato starch
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper (freshly)
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 beer (your choice I used less than half of a dark Mexican beer)
- 3 inches oil (I've used both coconut oil and light flavored olive oil, simply adjust the heat to avoid smoking.)
