- 4 bulbs garlic (peeled and trimmed of root ends, 32-40 cloves)

- 1/2 cup white sugar

- 1 1/2 lb. beef tenderloin (or petite filet, cut into bite-size pieces)

- 1/3 cup Shaoxing cooking wine (or dry sherry)
- 3 Tbsp. tamari (soy sauce or smoked soy sauce)
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire
- 1/2 cup bone broth (beef, or stock)
- 2 tsp. cornstarch (mixed with a couple tablespoons water to form a slurry)
