- 3 links hot Turkey Italian Sausage, about 12 oz. (squeeze out of casings) (links hot Turkey Italian, about 12 oz., squeeze out of casings)
- 1/3 cup whole wheat bread crumbs (100%)
- 2 Tbsp. flax seed meal (optional, but good)
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- pepper (salt-, to taste)
- Parmesan (additional, for sprinkling over meatballs)
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (. pureed with food processor or immersion blender)
