I sue veed my roast first for 4 hours to a rare temp. Took it out of the bag and pat it dry. Then I proceeded to make this dish. You only have to bake it long enough to cook/brown the pastery since the meat is already cooked. It should come out perfict every time!

Not sure how the writer got this to turn out correctly but our dinner didn't come out quite like theirs by following these directions. I had to cook it much longer longer than stated and it turned out to be quite messy and unkempt. i should have done much more research before I attempted this dish... sadly disappointed in the outcome of this meal.

Was not even close to cook at the temp and time recommended. Pastry was still doughy! Had to cook an additional 30 minutes. By which time, all my sides were cold.
