- 1 lb. stewing beef (cut into small cubes)
- 1 onions (medium, chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 5 cups beef broth (or 5 cups water + 5 teaspoons Better Than Bouillon beef base)
- 1 tsp. salt (plus more to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 2 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon leaves (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 large potatoes (scrubbed, peel it if you want! and diced)
- 4 carrots (peeled and sliced)
- 4 stalks celery (sliced)
- 1 cup frozen corn (each, and frozen peas, and/or green beans, etc - whatever you like!)

The recipe itself created a less than beefy soup but upon recommendation of another YUM cook, I added a package of onion sooup and it was great I also used fresh corn cut from the cob making it a second time today

Great dish! Will enjoy over the next 3-4 days as my wife and I have plenty left over with this recipe. Added a bit of Gravy Master to the meat and onions as the browned. Didn’t have Tarragon so I used Rosemary. All worked out well.

Delicious, I used white beans instead of potatoes & I did corn, peas & ground beef & noodles. With celery seed, oregano & garlic salt.
