    This was delicious!! If you are salt averse like me, then adjust the amount of salt you use to season the beef. This recipe and method worked well for the group Iwas serving. I had a badly butchered piece of tenderloin (thin at one end, thick at the other). Following the directions resulted in a tenderloin all could enjoy. The thinner/smaller end was well/medium-well while the thicker end was rare/medium-rare. And it was still moist throughout! I think pouring the remaining sauce into the pan before putting it in the oven may have helped to keep it moist. Who knows? In any case, it was delicious and enjoyed by all four of us😁
