My husband and picky sons loved this recipe. I used brandy and it came out flavorful and delicious. I know there are some negative reviews posted and I don’t know why some people are so harsh with their comments. If you don’t like something that is fine but there is a respectful way to say you prefer other recipes. The butter parsley noodles were also a hit!

This was easy and very very tasty. I will be
Making this again. The only thing with the directions is that it tells you to have 2 cups of beef broth and to put both cups into the sauce. The next direction is to take a 1/4 cup of the broth to make a slurry. So just make sure to reserve a 1/4 cup.
Tastes great

I followed the directions, used red wine.
Family loved it. Served over egg noodles.

Was very good but seemed to be missing something in the taste but just can’t put my fork on it

This stroganoff recipe was really good. Probably should have used less cornstarch slurry since the sauce became more gelatinous than I like. Flavors were spot on and I enjoyed the addition of carrots which I typically don’t use is stroganoff. I only used one carrot and fewer onions than called for. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Loved it! Easy easy:) most time involved was the prep, but also not too consuming:) substituted a Chardonnay for the Brandy, as that’s what I had on hand, & it was wonderful:) probably my favorite stroganoff recipe to date:)

Been making Beef Stroganoff for years from scratch, but wanted to try something a little different. This was quite different but really good and we really liked it. I will definitely try this again. I used a Cabernet instead of the Brandy because I didn’t have Brandy around and it turned out great!

We used sherry instead of cognac. Excellent meal and will definitely make this recipe again.

Came out just great. Raves from the roommates. Even the pic I took looks right. I dredged the meat lightly in flour and harissa powder. Used cognac. added a spoonful of Better than Bouillon, cuz that stuff is great.

The beef stock was omitted in this list!?! 4 Star recipe tho. I've prepared this dish for my customers many, many times with great feedback.

Mine isn't as pretty, and I didn't have Brandy, so I used cooking Sherry instead. It was delicious! The carrots were perfect with just a little crunch. I rounded it out with some steamed asparagus and a slice of garlic bread. This will be my go to Beef Stroganoff recipe from here on out!
