Great recipe, my go to every time I make beef or deer stew. I don’t add wine because I never have cooking wine on hand and add a little extra flour to thicken up.

Awesome recipe, love love it. I cut back on the red wine just a little. Served with wide egg noddles. Will make again.

This recipe was delicious. I used 1 cup wine and substituted beef broth for the 2nd cup. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Delicious! I also cooked a few pieces of bacon first and removed and used the grease and the re-added with beef before placing in the oven.

Bought a Dutch oven this year and trying to use it to it’s full potential! I’ve made this a couple times now. Really great. Takes some time. But it’s totally worth it. I like to make it and freeze it in smaller portions to take to work for lunches.

Would make again! I'm not sure how thick the liquid is supposed to be, but I found it to be a bit thin. It was my first time using my Dutch oven, and it went well. Overall, great.

Delicious! Made it exactly as the instructions said. I'll be making this all winter long!

My favorite stew recipe! The flavor is great. Easy prep. You can sub in/out any veggies, but i usually make it as is. I make it all the time and even my one year old eats it!

My husband didn't like it because of the strong wine taste. The meat was tender, if I leave out the wine and vinegar I think he would like it, if I make it again. My daughter liked it a lot, she had two bowls. I think it would've been better without the vinegar and use one cup of wine instead of two.

Delicious. Easy to make! Just changed a little the way of preparation, take off the black pepper and made in a pressure cooker!!!
