    Good stew. Thanks A

It turned out great! I didn’t use any red wine, tomato paste, black garlic or corn starch. I did however have to up the salt, garlic, and black pepper measuring. I also added a spicy kick to mine because my family likes spice. Substituted the green peas with black eyed peas. All in all, it was a hit. I made sweet cornbread for my guilty pleasure. Yummy!

Tthis was sooo perfect, it was the first time I managed to make beef stew from scratch that was actually good. We had to add more salt and pepper(alot more salt) and I added some black garlic and some regular garlic extra, it was a bit bland with out it.

I just didn’t love this version. Maybe it was the tomato paste, I don’t know. I would not make this again.

Beautiful stew. I substituted the peas for green beans and put them in at the same time as the other vegetables. I also put 1 litre more beef stock then suggested to compensate for larger vegetables and longer cooking time. I also had it with plain boiled rice. Thank you, Much appreciated for the recipe!

This was good. I made a few changes in spices and didn’t have any wine on hand so I improvised a little.

It turned out great! I made it in the Instant Pot using all the same ingredients, cooking the meat for 3/4 of the time and adding the vegetables the last 1/4. The only thing I would change is the addition of the peas: I plan to leave them out next time.

Very good recipe. I used tomato sauce (about 8 TBSP) instead of tomato paste since I had none in my pantry and it worked out well.
