- Coat beef with flour. Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium-high heat. Add 1/2 of the beef; brown on all sides. Repeat with remaining beef.
- Stir in seasonings and beef broth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
- Stir in vegetables; cover. Simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add additional water as necessary. Remove bay leaf before serving.

This turned out pretty good! I took out the seanson-all because the added salt was too much. If I make it again, ill triple the broth/water, there wasnt enough for leftovers.

Turned out great! This was my first time preparing beef and even my little brother found it delicious. A couple modifications I made: added about 3-4 tablespoons soy sauce, majoram instead of thyme, and two cloves garlic. Thumbs up!!

By far the very best beef stew recipe I’ve had. I’m adding this to my personal book for sure. However i didn’t have seasoning salt so I used creole seasoning. Also added garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper the meat prior to frying.

Excellent! I added beef bouillon and some turnip. This ehanced the flavor and added an extra vegetable.

Turned out awesome! I added carrots and mushrooms to the recipe. Add the carrots after about 45 min of simmering the broth and beef. I also did canned diced potatoes and they were perfect.

Delicious! I made this for my family and some friends, and they kept going back for more! I didn't simmer the meat for 1.5 hours. I added the seasonings, vegetables, and broth, boiled it for 10 minutes, then simmered it for 25-30 minutes, and it came or perfect! the vegetables were so tender and full of flavor. I would recommend making biscuits with it, it's a great pair!!

Deglaze the pot before adding the beef broth! Take out the browned meat add some red wine get all them bits then add the beef broth whisk whisk whisk then return beef and seasons! Nummy I doubled the recipe so we have plenty of seconds pair with a nice hearty biscuit and bam! #obesity so good
