Note that you should use refried beans (which is made from pinto beans), not pinto beans (unless you intend to puree them). There is too much cream cheese and not enough seasoning in this recipe. I would recommend 1 oz cream cheese, omit the cumin and chili seasoning, and use 1 packet of taco seasoning instead.

Easy to prepare. For a more robust flavor profile I would suggest adding a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of fresh salsa or Adobe seasoning (1/4 tsp) and garlic powder (1/4 tsp). You don’t want to mask the wonderful bean flavor but complement and punch up a bit.
