  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder (unflavored)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 400 milliliters heavy cream

    Directions

    1. Add the gelatin to the water in a cup, and place in the microwave for 20 seconds.
    2. Place the cream and vanilla into a saucepan on medium heat. Mix for 3 minutes and, when lukewarm, add the gelatin mixture. Mix well and cook on low heat for 1 minute.
    3. Remove from heat and fill 4 ramekins. Let cool for a few moments before placing into the refrigerator.
    4. Let set in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Serve with fruit preserves.
