soak, soak, soak the sesame seeds unless you want a VERY coarse and grainy texture. you will definitely need more oil to help break down the sesame chunks as well and create a smooth hummus. I also added a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar as well as using white pepper (like I do for all hummus as it creates a great flavor and blends better than black).
