8 minutes in the oven make these a bit soft in the center, but 9 minutes make these a true ginger snap! It makes 30, 3.5 inch gingerbread men. This recipe is my 3rd graders Favorite cookie. Yumm!!

These turned out amazing! Just enough spices flavour. This will be my Christmas go-to recipe from now on.

I used this recipe as a base gingerbread cookie and did not ice them. They were delicious as is, perfect for coffee or tea. The cookies do not rise, and working with the dough was a little crumbly but once rolled out it was no problem. I will definitely share and use this recipe over the holidays. Yum!
