Description
Banoffee pie is a classic English dessert and usually features a pastry or crumbled biscuit crust that is filled with a banana, cream, and toffee filling. Some variations are made with chocolate or coffee. This recipe for Banoffee pie puts an Argentine twist on the original, using dulce de leche and fresh bananas for the filling. Topped with freshly whipped meringue, the pie is then baked until the meringue is golden. Make your own graham cracker crust or purchase one premade.

- 150 grams graham crackers
- 75 grams butter (melted)
- 4 egg whites (very cold)
- salt
- 100 grams powdered sugar
- 15 oz. dulce de leche
- 3 bananas (sliced into rounds)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Put the graham crackers in a food processor and grind them while adding in the melted butter until it forms a ball.
- Pour this mixture out into a 21 centimeter pie pan and press into the bottom and sides. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
