    My sister husband used to do this for the family years ago!! I enjoyed it!! I didn't add salt being that salt is already added in the self-rising. I just used 4 packs of splenda ( it was all i had during that time) But it taste so good and the family was very pleased. One thing for sure, u have to keep watch and don't have the fire on to high or else it overcook on the inside quickly.
