We liked the sausages and potatoes, but all agreed the gravy was too sweet. I think if I make this again, I’ll need to play with the gravy flavor a bit.

I rated this dinner a four because we didnt have any butter for the mash potatos. My fiance tried a substitute and failed. but other than that the bangers were good and the gravey was good. Although I doubled up on the gravey just because theres never really enough gravey;) plus, it was easy to make.

I used large Johnsonville Garlic Sausage that was not precooked so I boiled the sausage to make sure they were cooked through, then just threw them on the grill for a couple minutes to brown them. We had a Guinness Stout Draught in the house so I used that in the Onion Gravy. I will try the Blonde next time. This recipe Is delicious and very easy. A+

Gravy was almost too sweet. I’m not sure if it was the sugar or the blond. I think next time I’ll use the stout and only half the sugar.

My family loved it. I didn't use beer so instead I used a packet of brown gravy mix and added to the already sauteed onions.
