Description
Tart tatin is a French dessert that is made in a skillet with caramelized fresh fruit and a layer of puff pastry, after baking it is flipped over to be served so that the beautifully arranged fruit is on display. In this version of the classic, bananas and raspberries come together with a rich caramel for a trio of delicious sweet flavors. Once this dessert is done baking, allow it to cool briefly before topping with a dallop of fresh whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

- 6 Tbsp. vanilla sugar (or normal sugar + 1 tbsp. vanilla extract)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. cream (fresh)
- 4 bananas (depending on size)
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 puff pastry

Directions
- In an oven-proof skillet, add sugar, and butter. Melt the butter on medium heat. Add the cream, and stirring constantly, cook until you have a creamy consistency.
- Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Preheat oven to 225 degrees Celsius.

Absolutely delicious. I think a light crispy pie crust would've worked as well, especially since you're unmolding it. I ate so much of this without taking a breath in between bites, I couldn't believe it. Will definitely make again. The flavor is to die for.
