I made this with 4 medium bananas and 8 tsps of Cadbury’s choc spread (finishing the pot!) as we have a nut allergy in our house. It was one of the nicest banana cakes I’ve made.

Not bad. i changed the recipe a bit. added one more banana and used a bit less Nutella. it could have used more sweets though

Easy recipe to follow and makes a lovely, tasty, moist cake. I used three big bananas which might have helped keeping it moist. I also used a smaller deeper tin, so increased the cooking time to 75 mins @ gas mark 4

Awesome turned out really well is a little crumbly and has too much baking soda in it but otherwise it’s great!! Definitely will make again!

I've made this recipe so many times, it's perfect. My go to every time I notice my bananas looking a bit sorry for themselves... I've even made a vegan version of this cake using the usual substitutes and it turned out perfectly.

Bit dry and boring. Nutella didn't swirl right through the cake only the top

I used 45ml maple syrup instead of sugar and made mine into muffins, baking for 25minutes. Perfect muffins. Will be just as great without Nutella (when one needs to be nut free).
