I used an over ripe banana and left out the sugar. The pancakes were delicious, even without syrup.

My daughter loved for her b-day breakfast in bed. I made vegan by using ground flax seed (2 tbsp of ground flax seed to 6 tbsp of water and let gelatinize) as my egg substitute, used earth balance butter and almond milk.

I make it with oats flour and topping it with mixed berries puree and almond flakes was amazing and the kids love it

I’m not sure if anyone else’s turned out like this, but mine tasted like there was too much flour... or maybe it was baking soda? Either way, mine did not taste like banana ...at all!

The BEST pancakes I have ever made. I used pancake mix vs the dry ingredients mixture and only 1 large egg. They were light and fluffy but the butter made them a little crunchy around the edges. Thumbs up from my entire family.

Nice big pancakes; turned out well and tasty with the lingering banana flavor... not super fluffy, which was okay with me... added cinnamon... might add a little extra vanilla extract next time.

I added more banana, half cup of apple sauce, and a tsp of cinnamon. My family loved it!

I’ve made banana pancakes before and turned out delicious, did not get the same results with these. Not sure what went wrong but it didn’t turn out as expected. Pancake was dense, hard to cook and didn’t fluff at all on top of being very bland.

Good texture, but a bit flavorless as others have mentioned. I used two small bananas (really, who has just a single banana lying around?) and while they did rise nicely, they need a little something. They're not bad though. I should also mention I used a mixture of pastry and whole wheat flour, because I needed to use them up.
