  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (or 1/2 c milk mixed with 1/2 Tbl lemon juice)

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (or substitute extract)
  • 24 ounces confectioners' sugar (sifted if lumpy)
