- 1 3/4 cups blanched almond flour
- 1/4 cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. shortening (organic palm, I used this one)
- 1 egg (preferably pasture-raised)
- 2 Tbsp. raw honey
- 13.5 oz. full fat coconut milk (I like this one, which has no gums)
- 2 1/2 bananas (medium just-ripe)
- 1 1/4 tsp. gelatin powder (preferably grass-fed, I recommend this one or this one)
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. raw honey (or more to taste if you want it sweeter)
- whipped cream (Homemade coconut milk, for topping, if desired, highly recommended)
- cacao nibs (for garnish, if desired, optional)
- banana (Extra just-ripe, slices for garnish, if desired)
